Bidzina Bejuashvili serves as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of CAD and also is the Chief Executive Officer of Abbey Asset Management. Prior joining Abbey Asset Management, Mr. Bejuashvili served as a Vice-President at the leading global investment banking firm JPMorgan Chase, London, and was responsible for equity research coverage of the oil & gas sector in Russia, CEE, Middle East and Latin America. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase in October 2005, Mr. Bejuashvili served in similar capacities at Italian Unicredit (2003-2005) and RZB Austria, London (2000-2003). Prior to moving to London in 2000, Mr. Bejuashvili served, first, as an analyst and, later, as the Head of Equity Research at Raiffeisenbank, Moscow (1996-2000). Mr. Bejuashvili started his investment banking career with the CEE corporate finance arm of MeesPierson, one of the oldest Dutch banks, in 1996.
Mr. Bejuashvili has twelve years of professional experience in investment banking, and holds a dual, British and Georgian, citizenship. Mr. Bejuashvili was born and raised in Tbilisi, prior to leaving Georgia in 1987 to pursue his undergraduate studies at Moscow State University, Dept. of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, from which he graduated with honours in 1992. Mr. Bejuashvili holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from Boston University.
David Östby works as an investment manager at East Capital Private equity which he joined in 2004. Prior to joining East Capital, Mr. Östby worked for five years as a management consultant at Bain & Company in Stockholm. He holds a MSc in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics and the University of Chicago, as well as a degree in History and Modern Languages from the Universities of Stockholm, Uppsala and Montpellier.
Paolo Sacchi works as an investment manager at East Capital private Equity which he joined in 2008. Mr. Sacci started his carrier at Alfa Laval Agri (now DeLaval), a Swedish company part of the Tetra Laval Group. He has held the positions of GM for Ukraine and Russia and then GM for the Business Unit Service and parts from the company’s HQ in Stockholm. Prior to joining East Capital, Mr. Sacchi ran his own industrial machinery manufacturing company. Paolo holds a University degree in agricultural engineering from the University of Milan, Italy.
